The design and construction of natural grass pitches that are suitable for near year round use requires careful analysis of the site, existing ground conditions, drainage and water supply.
We have successfully designed and monitored construction of many natural grass pitches, mainly within the western sea board. By utilising our PDS computerised modelling techniques we are able to provide a level playing area with minimal export or import of the soils from site. Often the upper surface of the pitch consists of sand with a particular grading that is capable of retaining rainwater but also permits this water sufficient passage to prevent flooding however, pitches can be designed and constructed to suit the client’s budget.
In addition to natural grass we have capability and experience of design and construction monitoring of synthetic turf “Astro-turf” pitches and running tracks fully in compliance with IAAF specification for national competition use.
